Product Information

Perfect tone, unlocked power and uncompromised daily driving manners. For the Q5 2.0T, AWE knew the tone and volume had to be spot on, given the varied environments this do-it-all vehicle finds itself in. It needed to deliver an eye-opening wail at full throttle yet be quiet and civil during part throttle, around town driving. Countless research and development efforts by AWE's Fabrication and Engineering Departments have yielded the finest Q5 2.0T exhaust on the market. The stock exhaust system is full of crimped tubing that hurts exhaust flow and robs horsepower. Our Q5 2.0T Exhaust was designed with smooth gradual bends and to eliminate any interruption to the flow of exhaust gasses. Our improvements to the exhaust path result in gains of +13 horsepower and +13 lb ft of torque at the crank. Replacing the large, restrictive factory mufflers also has a pleasing effect on the engine note. Our exhaust systems give the 2.0T a civilized, more melodious voice, with specific attention paid to low rpm situations at part throttle. Finishing it off This system is topped off with notable 3.5 inch slash-cut tips. The tips sport engraved AWE logos and are double walled to ensure a mirror polish, even under hard usage. Each tip is individually adjustable, so stagger and depth into bumper can be set according to personal taste. Please Note: This product is 50 State Legal.

Exhaust System Kit

An exhaust system kit is a complete set of components designed to route and treat engine exhaust gases before releasing them into the atmosphere. It typically includes pipes, mufflers, resonators, catalytic converters, clamps, and hangers. The system reduces harmful emissions, minimizes noise, and directs hot exhaust gases safely away from the engine and cabin. Aftermarket kits may also improve performance and efficiency by optimizing exhaust flow.

Exhaust System Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Loud or unusual noises such as rumbling or hissing from leaks or damaged parts.
  • Decreased engine performance or fuel efficiency due to restricted or leaking flow.
  • Strong exhaust odors inside or around the vehicle, indicating leaks or faulty sealing.
