Unfasten the two retainers on the edge of the cover and take off the cover. Pull up the washer fluid filler pipe and take it out from the front of your battery box. Pull up on your fuse panel take it out of your car. Take out the cover from the back of your headlight and turn the bulb holder counterclockwise. Take the bulb out of the reflector. Without touching any glass, put the new bulb into the bulb holder. The 9-3 make takes H7 bulbs. Put the bulb holder into the reflector and rotate it clockwise to lock it. Put back the cover of your rear headlight and repeat the steps in the reverse order to put everything back. If you have a Saab 9-5, the first thing to do is get under your hood and remove the cover from the back of your lamp unit. Unplug the electrical connector and take out the spring clip by pushing it in and moving it to the right. Now, take out the old bulb and put the new one into the lamp unit. The 9-5 takes H7 bulbs. Line the bulb up with the reflector and fasten it with the spring clip. Plug in the connector and put the cover back on the lamp unit. If you have a Saab 9-7X, the first thing you should do is get under your hood and lift the two headlamp retaining clips to take out the headlamp. Pull the headlamp system out and disconnect the electrical connectors. Take out the bulb cover for the high beam and low-beam bulbs. Next, take out the bulb sockets by turning them counterclockwise. Detach the electrical connector from your old bulb and Plug the electrical connector into the new one. The 9-7X takes 9005 bulbs for the high beams and H11 bulbs for the low beams. Put in the new bulb socket and turn it clockwise. To finish the process, simply reverse the order of these steps to put everything back in order.
