BMW Brake Kit Parts

Quality is a BMW requirement that the brand has continued throughout their history. They have created vehicles with revolutionary designs, all with a declaration to provide their customers with an enhanced vehicle. They have a vast product line, which has helped push them to expand into a worldwide auto market leader, right down to their brake kit parts and components. One of the most frequent areas in your BMW that will become worn out are the brake pads. If you do a good amount of stop and go driving, you know how commonly you have to replace your brake pads. Replacing your brake pads can at times not be not as simple as you would like, but it is easy once you get the hang of it. The first thing you need to do is loosen the lug nuts on both of your BMW’s front wheels and jack the vehicle up. Pull the emergency brake up and put some blocks in the back of the wheels to keep it from rolling backwards while working. You are now ready to take off the front wheels to get to the braking system on each side of your BMW. If you have questions about BMW’s brake kit parts or components, the FCP Euro team and website are always accessible.

You can now unfasten your BMW’s mounting bolts that are holding the caliper and brake pads onto the rotor. Take the caliper off of the rotor and remove the bolts or clips. Some models have both, joining the brake pads to the caliper. Put back the piston in the caliper to the open position and grab a C-clamp. As your BMW’s brake pads wear out, the piston gets positioned close to the rotor. With your new brake pads, this piston must be pulled open all the way before installing the new pads. Put some grease in the back of the new brake pads and put the brakes back together in the reverse order you took them out. Make sure you consistently change the brake pads on both sides of your BMW, even if one side does not look as worn out as the other. FCP Euro's intelligent and talented call center staff is here and able to answer any questions you have or support you may need.
