You can now carefully take off the panel on the inside of the door using a screwdriver. It is located directly opposite of the mirror. You can then take off the wire clip. The clip connects the wires from the door to the wires in the mirror. Hold the mirror with one hand through the open window and unscrew the three bolts with other hand with a wrench. Place the new mirror against your BMW’s door in the newly opened area and screw the three bolts back in. Reconnect the clip and replace the panel. You can replicate these previous steps for the other mirror. Reconnect the negative battery cable and start your BMW up. Inspect the mirrors by moving them with the power mirror switch.
