The Audi Q3 Quattro is a small SUV that has the legendary all-wheel drive Quattro system. The quatrro permanent 4-wheel drive makes this SUV very capable in just about any weather conditions. Its a transverse mounted front engine vehicle with a crossover 5-door body style. This SUV uses the PQ35 platform from the Golf MK5, the purpose of this vehicle is to provide a family with practicality. The Audi Q3 uses parts from the PQ35 platform used for the VW Golf, Audi A3 and Skoda Yeti, sharing transmissions and engines.

This SUV is the smallest out of the Q5 and Q7 with an important spot within the Audi Lineup. The Audi Q3 design went through approval in 2007 with Julian Hoenigs design picked to be used for the Q3 styling. Early models are powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine with a 7-speed transmission.
