Separate your Audi’s flange hardware and if needed, heat the nuts with an oxyacetylene torch. Heat just the edges of the nut and not the bolt itself, which will swell the nut. When the nut is red, switch off the torch and take off the nut. For front pipes, a ratchet, long extension and socket, is your best bet. Repeat this procedure for every nut and stud/bolt of the flange until they are all taken off. The studs will stay intact on their exhaust parts. Now, disconnect the flange connection.
