Easy to replace! This improved the appearance of my lower windshield area, since the original part had started crumbling apart after 12 years in the sun. I re-used the old fastener (part only comes with one and needs two) because the replacement part suggested here was wayyyy too small. Perhaps we will one day find the right part number....

Fits perfectly. Make sure to get both the left and right. I ended up using the original clips even though I had bought the recommended additional clips (not included).

Old one was completely crumbled. This is a must to help the car look new again!

Part fits perfectly, looks very nice, but it was a surprise for me it was rubber/Silicone. When I bought the car it was missing.

I bought both left & right. The install was easy...just pulled the two old clips and slid the trim pieces right out. Then aligned the bottom clip on the trim piece and slid it in and popped the little clips on the trim piece under the metal part of the fender around the cowl. But the trim pieces, as has been noted by other reviewers only come with the lower clip. Being aware of this I ordered the Volvo Cowl Clip - Genuine Volvo 1369279 that was listed on the same drop down menu as the trim pieces. They are NOT the correct clips. Went to my Volvo dealer and purchased part # 1268176 55c05 clips which got the job done. I had a water in the passenger side foot well and noticed that the upper clip on the passenger side trim piece was missing and there was just an open hole where the clip used to be. So I decided to replace the trim and clips on both sides. After a couple of good rain storms and carwashes I will report back as to whether this solved that problem. PS...would have given this part 5 stars if it had either come with both clips or if the clips listed on the drop down menu for this part had been the proper clips.
