Good deal for Aisin fluid

Cheaper than the Toyota or Volvo oils and its made by the Transmission manufacturer so Im confident using it on my V70 trans with 255k mi. on it.

Convenience kit has just right amount of fluid for a drain and fill. I’ve done my transmission 4 times over the course of 15k miles on my 2005 Volvo XC70 I would recommend getting a transmission funnel specific to fit the full tube otherwise it could become pretty messy trying to use other funnels/ methods

Loosened drain plug emptied 3.5 qts of dark brown, almost black, burnt-smelling fluid. 3.5 qts of this replacement Aisin fluid resulted in noticeably smoother gear changes. Perfect!

Unsure of my actual millage but guessing its about 200k wanted to see if I noticed any difference for better or worse cause old fluid was black smelled horribly burnt and was probably original fluid as my s80 has a lot of original parts still (working on it up to brakes hope to do suspension soon) drained about 3.5 quarts like mentioned in video personally fished a hand fluid pump to the dipstick to fill might want have extra tubing in case or you can try to get a funnel I just found this easier now mixed and smells burnt but no negative difference noticeable could be placebo but feel it shifts slightly better so hope to do another change after two months to get more clean fluid in

Same brand as the transmission, how can you go wrong? Legit JWS 3309 with the crush washer. Also, if you're like most early P2 owners with the AW trans you should consider buying the crush washers in bulk, they work for both engine oil and ATF drain plugs.
