Only OEM
Good coolant to use in your Volvo. I wanted the blue stuff and this is it. Good price, fair shipping. Thanks FCP!

Safe bet, nice price
Get it a lot cheaper here than the dealer. Keeps my system nice and clean, no problems with over heating.

Today FCP's price is lower than the last time I bought coolant. This coolant is G48, the same as BMW, Benz and the old Saab. I bought the BMW flavor last time. Saab hasn't sold this for a few years, so FCP has the best price now. Now that the price for the Volvo is in line with the other brands, I'm choosing this. Having the Volvo bottle in the trunk will probably increase the price when you sell your car. ;)

Excellent Price
A gallon of factory Volvo coolant at this price is fantastic! I couldn't beat this on ebay, craigslist, not anywhere and believe me I tried. I'd been running the cheapest green coolant I could find for years. I removed my radiator and descaled it with CLR and vinegar. That worked REALLY well. Re-installed and refilled with water from my dehumidifier. Ran the car for a day, emptied the system, refilled with the dehumidifier water (you get the idea) and repeated this 4 or 5 times (heck the water was free and I had to empty the dehumidifier anyway). The goal is to flush every drop of the old stuff out and make sure any liquid residue is distilled water. Then I mixed the Volvo coolant 50/50 with store bought distilled water and refilled my system. All done!

The Only Coolant You Should Use
Volvo brand coolant may be more expensive than other coolants, but it lasts the longest and performs far better than third party coolants. I purchased my 2001 Volvo S80 in 2012 from an old woman in Maryland, who was its sole owner and who informed me that neither she nor the dealership had never changed the original coolant from the factory in 11 years (since the owner's manual states that that the coolant need not ever be changed unless contaminated) there was not a hint of rust or debris in the coolant at the time. When I finally decided to change the coolant in 2014, for the first time in 13 years, and perform a "closed" system flush, I was amazed to find not a hint of precipitates or rust in the cooling system. I replaced the green Volvo coolant with a 50/50 mix of the new blue Volvo coolant and distilled water. The fluid has continued to perform well, as it always has, and my system could not be happier. Never seek a cheaper formulation for your Volvo, as this fluid lasts longer than others and will not let you or your Volvo down.
