I have a 2012 C30. What vacuum bleeder is recommended to do a coolant change? What threads are necessary to fit on the expansion tank?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
We recommend CTA-6520, it uses a rubber cone that makes the seal in the tank. This is a more universal style, but we have tested this on similar models and it works great.

I have a 2013 Volvo XC60. I read in other questions that this fluid will fit all Volvos, however the stuff in my car is not green. It's an amber-ish color. Is that because the coolant is old? My car has 100k miles on it.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
There are two potential answers, the first is yes the fluid is old and the color has changed over time. The other potential reason is that maybe someone put the wrong coolant in it at some point. Either way, this is the correct coolant for your car. If it is the wrong coolant you may want to do a flush, where you do one drain and fill and then some time later you do another to make sure that there isn't mixing types of coolant which can sometimes be destructive to your cooling system over time.
Question Posted by a customer
What colour is this coolant, is it blue or green? There are recent reviews that say that it is blue and the info page says it is green. Please clarify thank you.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This coolant is light pine green, however, it is compatible with other color coolants. The color has changed a few times in the lifetime of the part number, proving that content is more important. If you are worried about mixing, you can drain your cooling system, fill with distilled water to flush and run it for a short while (or a few days if the weather is not below freezing), and then drain and add the Genuine Volvo coolant.

i have a 2008 Volvo s80 t6 how much of the radiator fluid should I buy of this to do a complete drain and refill of my coolant system? Also my next question is would you recommend this Volvo brand coolant or the other oem fluid (Pentofrost NF coolant) that you sell on this site for my Volvo, I am having a hard time choosing between the two?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
The T6 P3 S80 takes 8.9l complete capacity, however, this is how Volvo states filling a dry system. You will most likely need less as the residual will stay in parts of the engine and cooling pipes. So one gallon of unmixed coolant and 1 gallon of distilled water should do the trick. The price on this Genuine Volvo coolant is very good right now, so we recommend it. The quality will be the same.
Question Posted by a customer
Sorry, one more Q. How can I mix with distilled water? just put at my coolant expansion tank and put the same amount of water?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Correct. A splash of each back and forth will do the trick. A quarter gallon at a time will be just fine, once the system is topped off running the car will mix it to a perfect 50/50 mix.
