This Volvo coolant is concentrated and must be mixed with distilled water.
QuestionPosted by Jaime
I understand this is a concentrated antifreeze, what's the dilution ratio? My 2005 Volvo S80 reads that it needs 9.5 qts (http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/2005/2005_s80/05s80_09.htm#pg147), how many of these would I need to buy to dilute to 9qt?
Answer(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
For a drain and fill you'll need 1 gallon of antifreeze and 1 gallon of distilled water.

I had to drain my expansion tank to replace it. Can I use this coolant which is blue-green to top off my coolant which currently has the green Volvo coolant? Alternatively, can I just reuse the coolant I drained out of the expansion tank?
Answer(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Coolant should be replaced every 3 years. Also, You can use this coolant as Volvo superseded the green coolant by p/n 31439821 to replace all previous coolants.
