Quick shipping! (good job on FCP's part) but the product is defective. pump builds zero pressure.

Doesn't seal, dumps fluid past reservoir cap, has plastic flash inside tank
I was able to get this to seat properly on the reservoir once, but the 1/4 brass NPT fitting that connects the cap adapter dongle to the pressure line from the tool was leaking without sealing tape. That should really be a quick coupler rated for fluid rather than a threaded fitting. Once I sealed the NPT threads, the cap seal at the reservoir kept slipping inside or folding over when tightening on the reservoir, causing wasted fluid to spill all over painted panels. Of the five times I positioned the seal and tightened the cap, it sealed only twice. The technology of sizing rubber gasket/seal materials so they work properly on a known reservoir throat is about fifty years old by now, so not sure why this expensive tool doesn't grasp it. Lastly, there were tiny yellow and black pieces of plastic that needed to be carefully washed out to avoid them being pushed into the brake system. Really expected better for the price, and since it seems like almost a perfect ripoff of the BavAuto one I bought twenty years ago that worked flawlessly. Going back, will keep shopping.

Motive Power bleeder poor quality
I bought this to change the brake fluid on my Audi S5. Unfortunately I bought it months back and cannot return it. Let me say it’s really poorly made and the pump seal is appalling. I could not get it to build pressure as it just leaks past the pump seal. Don’t waste your money. I went to Menards and bought a $10 garden sprayer and moved the gauge across and joined the brake reservoir cap pipe the the garden sprayer pipe with a 3/8 to 1/4 inch barbed fitting. Wow, works like a charm now. Spend $20 and build your own instead of buying this junk.

European Power Bleeder - Motive Products
I wish I had read the reviews below. This thing leaked terribly and dump brake fluid in the front luggage compartment. What should have a been a quick brake flush turned into a day of stripping out and scrubbing carpets and soaping up the frunk to avoid damaging the paint.. I'm glad there is a drain plug in there...
This thing was very frustrating.

I should have listened to the other reviews :( Many of them mentioned leaks but I thought it was just a "one-off". This product was recommended in many forums so I decided to give it a try.
For context, my car is a 2004 Boxster. First, there was a small leak at the connection between the adapter tube and the main body tube. After I really tightened it, it seemed to slowed down to a very slow drip. Then, while under pressure, it leaked at the adapter and the car's brake fluid reservoir! By the time I noticed it (by liquid dripping sound on the garage floor), it had dumped about 0.5L of brake fluid... I tried it with and without the supplied o-ring at the adapter.
Very disappointed at this product, would not recommend.

Pump not working - Does not hold air at the pump itself. There is a lot of bad reviews on this product lately, was hoping I would be an exception, but no. They don't even do a quality check on them before selling. very disappointed.

Initiated a pressure hold test before proceeding to fill the tank, pressure went down from 13 psi to 6 psi within three min. Price seems to match Amazon price for the same product, but not sure about its value at this point as there are other brands with lower prices on Amazon.

Complete Waste of Time and Money
I bought this thinking that it would make my life easier. I was wrong. It will only build pressure to 5PSI regardless of the 30-45 minutes I pumped. I went through the trouble shooting process and absolutely nothing worked. There are no leaks in the line. Took the pump apart and found that the plunger was cracked. I'm in the middle of doing my brake job and need assistance asap. I reached out to FCP asking for help and got an automated response saying that it would take 3-4 business days to get a response. I for sure lost any faith in the Motive product but sadly also lost faith in FCP to provide assistance when it's needed. I also tried calling for assistance but there was no way to actually talk to somebody. I placed a new order to get a replacement but I won't receive it till next week. My car is out of commission now while I wait......very unhappy.
