I can’t select zero stars. Shame.
Zero instructions? OK maybe that would be fine if it worked fine since it’s so simple - it’s just a pump right? I spent well over an hour trying to remedy this thing to see what the hell the problem was. It cannot hold any pressure whatsoever. It’s not even leaking. It won’t hold any pressure. Did I check to see if the cap that connects to the reservoir is cross-threaded? Yes. Did I check all the cap at the main bleeder? Yes. Oh look, somebody left a review saying that the gauge has a leak. So I checked that, I noticed that it’s not tightened all the way and it’s not secure. But still didn’t solve the no-pressure issue. Pump, pump, pump cannot hold any pressure whatsoever. Could be missing a gasket. What a complete piece of trash.
A YouTuber said that Motive recently got bought out by a different company and their manufacturing process completely ruined what supposedly used to be a great product. Sorry you were duped, FCP.

The connection between the two hoses leaked! It took forever pumping to get 15 psi due to leak at connection between hoses of the pump and brake reservoir. Not happy camper. Can I return?

easy to use, though it did make a bit of a mess when removing it from the master cylinder reservoir. I suspect that was likely user error but it still made the job much easier.

Would be great if it didn't leak from the pressure gauge.

This tool is a very economical choice after 4 years of 'bidenomics' regime. You can add quick connect to either end, and even use it with an extension air hose to make the work easy and discreet. I actually sat in the car to pump to 15psi, and it was really low key, considering this parking lot is under surveillance... lol! Also, I didn't need to jack up the car (F15 X5) at all: just turn the front wheels to access the bleeder valves on the front calipes; for rare calipers, just lie down on the floor and you will have full access to the bleeding valves. 11mm wrech and 14 lbft torque you just use your feelings not to over tighten ok. IMPORTANT: use an extractor to suck out old fluid and add new fluid to 'MAX', then use the bleeder to bleed about 8oz at a time, closer to 'MIN", then refill the reservoir to 'MAX' again before bleeding the next, make sure fluid runs new. This way you don't need to fill the tool with brake fluid, nice and clean and nothing to clean up. It takes a little longer, but I think it is worth it. Use a soft tubing for the bleeder valves, and a water bottle to hold fluid temporarily and discard properly!

Quality product @ fair price
There are many options on the market, however, this is well built and works great. It seal nicely. The only downside is it doe snot have a rotatable joint when placing cap on tank. I twist the opposite direction before placing cap on tank which helps. Overall good product.

I use this all the time and it always works really well. I don't even actually mind bleeding brakes. The key I found to bleeding the clutch, is to only crack open the bleeder screw the tiniest bit so that fluid just starts to flow. And just wait for it. If you crack the bleeder screw open any further it will suck air upwards. If you do a whole turn it will gush air up into the system. But this is a great tool to bleed brakes and clutch without any hassle

Wonder tool! Makes brake line flushing a breeze.
Everyone who does even basic DIY on their car should own this tool. It's easy to use and makes flushing the brake lines a simple job, and you can do it alone, no helper required! It also doesn't require an air compressor to use. Very simple, yet useful tool.

Comes with no instructions. Once you go to their website it tells you how to do a pre pressure test. Didn’t get past this part. After 2 hours I took it to a brake mechanics and their exact words were “ what a piece of s$$t”.
I have emailed Motive and after 2 weeks still no reply, but luckily for me FCP are true to their word are refunded me, no questions asked.
Please don’t buy this item.

Use it once and it has paid for itself. Plus you dont have to worry about a sloppy mechanic dripping the dreaded brake fluid on your painted surfaces...
