Did not build enough pressure and leaked fluid despite tightening all screws. Do not buy, recent reviews suggest manufacturing defect.

Didn't work first use, would not build pressure. Attempted to lubricate any sealing surfaces in pump but under no circumstances built any pressure. Do not buy

this thing is HOT GARBAGE - had my car in the air and about to bleed brakes and fluid would not even get past the connection point which is stupidly placed in the middle of the hose...teflon tape and properly torqued connection made zero difference and the coupler was fully seated. I have other air tools and know how to use them. replaced it with the Pressure Brake Bleeder - CTA Manufacturing 7015 which worked like a charm!

2 stars. Worked one time then the pump crapped out the second time I tried to use it.

Bought one bleeder and pressure would not hold for even 30 seconds.. FCP sent a replacement and the second bleeder could not build any pressure at all. Tried swapping the pumps between the two bottles and could not get past even 10 PSI. Luckily, I tested without any fluid. Overall waste of money and disappointed in the massive drop in quality from a reputable brand.

Motive brake bleeder is Jo good
DO NOT BUY MOTIVE POWER BLEEDER. Just tried to use a brand new motive bleeder. What a piece of junk. The bleeder would not pressurize beyond 5 psi and then I ended up with 500cc of brake fluid on the floor.

I purchased two pumps and both wouldn't hold pressure beyond 20 PSI. Luckily FCP's customer service is stellar and they refunded me the second time with little to no issue.

This thing works really well. I changed the from brake lines and calipers a while ago and used the Harbor Freight sucker thing and I believe that let some air in or didn't get all the air out of the new lines. This did the job. Pedal feel is much better now.
Easy to set up and very easy to use. As others have said, you have to unscrew the big top to let the pressure off BEFORE unhooking the air fitting. Doing it this way will actually suck the residual fluid back up the line and into the bleeder, so that's neat. Check all the clamps and fittings, and use teflon tape on the threads before putting it together and you're good to go. Watch the how-to video too.

Use teflon tape on the brass fitting
Good product. Just needs teflon tape on the brass fitting to create an airtight seal. I was using this at 20-25 psi for a mercedes ml320 and it worked perfectly.

Defective crimp on adapter
While I was halfway through bleeding my brakes, the rubber hose popped off the reservoir adapter while the canister was pressurized. Brake fluid sprayed out of the hose all over the engine bay, underside of the hood, front of two cars, and all over my garage floor before I could get it spraying into my catch bottle. Made an unholy mess in the garage, and had to immediately wash the front ends of two cars before the brake fluid started stripping paint.
After looking at the parts, it was clear the crimp was made over the hose bib of the adapter, but a little lip below the bib that pushed out ever so slightly. The crimp was never tight to begin with, and I could slip it on and off with my fingers.
After crimping the hose properly, I was able to finish the job. NOT IMPRESSED - SHODDILY BUILT. Motive is lucky I'm not asking for 2 new paint jobs.
