Amazing price, WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

BUY FCP EURO oil caps beware of oil caps from regular local retailers ! I didn't want to spend so I purchased an oil cap for my 2005 CLK500 from a local retailer; I had noted an oil leak around my engine. I took off the old cap ( an aftermarket cap) and I purchased a replacement oil cap from a local retailer. I continued to note the oil leak around the engine. I tried to take the cap off the car's engine and the plastic cover completely separated from the Base ! The cap had fallen apart. I subsequently put the cap back on the base and I twisted the cap off only to find out that the the plastic cover was warped; basically CHEAP plastic. I decided to order from FCP EURO. The oil cap was of a higher quality; heavier more solid. I screwed it on into my car ... No leak and the quality was superior. I no longer have an oil leak. Excellent fit and finish!

When I bought my car, it had a horrendous oil leak down the side of the engine. I thought it was a valve cover gasket, but after driving it, I realized the oil was leaking out around the seal of the oil cap. Bought a replacement and the oil leak stopped. Nice, tight fit and saved me hours of potential labor in repairing the valve cover gasket, which didn't need to be replaced.

My cap was leaking oil, so I bought one of off Amazon. What a piece of Chinese crap. I ordered one from FCP and what I difference! Oil leak gone!
