It said oem, it fits like the oem, looks like the oem and feels like oem quality. My conclusion would be, its oem. After 5000 miles, no cracks, no leaks.

Somehow the original engine oil filler cap of my W163 ML320 went MIA, so bought one from an auto-part store to prevent the oil from splashing out. It was loose but still better than without one. Finally, bought this one when ordering other parts from FCP Euro. It fits perfectly.

Perfect for my '06 ML500. Replaced some crappy aftermarket cap the previous owner put on. Nice and tight
