Helps with lifter noise on the M156 and to assist with lubrication. Long-term solution is to replace lock-plates, springs, and lifters. Quality product!

I had a lifter tick on my E38 740iL, and poured this into the crankcase as instructed. It seemed to help with the valve tick, but didn't get rid of it entirely.

Seems to work, quieted down the lifter tick in my 300k mile 1.9 TDI Golf. Seems to raise oil pressure a little bit, consistency is similar to Lucas Oil Stabilizer.

I have my doubts about oil additives, so when a 2001 X5 3.0 came in with a nasty lifter tick, I went ahead and replaced all 24 lifters with OEM. After replacing all the lifters, the tick was reduced but not eliminated, even after bleed procedure. FCP suggested this sauce (which I had actually already ordered with the lifters) and within about 10 minutes the engine was smooth and quiet. Made me a believer.
