missing the oaring seal on the valve cover

Just did this job on my 2006 325i with the n52 engine. It definitely was time consuming but it did fix my oil leak so it was 100% worth it! Make sure to use the allen on the back of the valvetronic motor when taking it out so that way you do not damage the very expensive part. Also, if you do this job and have rough idle or loss of power it most likely is that you need to reset your valvetronic using bmw software or a bmw scan tool. This kit is complete with everything you need for the job. If you have a oil leak that you have determined is coming from your failing valve cover gasket this is the perfect kit to buy!

I bought this part months ago and finally installed it this week. The job is time consuming but this kit is great and fits wonderfully. I love that it comes with new bolts. Fit my 2006 BMW 325i e90 with a N52 motor perfectly.

the fact that this kit comes with all bolts, and gaskets for the sensor and valvtronic motor you cant go wrong. only issue i had was figuring out how to replace the sensor seal...even though its grooved like a twistable insert you just muscle it in...and the valvtronic motor one took me a while to figure out which was was suppose to be inside, and depending on the motor the gaskets (direction) is different so just make notes when you take off your current gaskets, but other then that A++++

I used this on a 2007 525. It was the exact fit and came with everything needed. The procedure isn’t too complicated but for me, the Bentley manual wasn’t 100% accurate so I used a walkthrough from the internet. It’s pretty straightforward though.
