Used this Elring kit to successfully replace the valve cover gasket in my 2006 BMW 325i. I recommend getting this kit! It is a quality product that comes with the screws for the valve cover gasket as well as the seals for the valvetronic actuator and eccentric shaft sensor. It’s everything you’ll need for a great price too!

Previous owner had cracked bolts throughout the valve cover so oil was getting everywhere. THIS DID THE TRICK! I used a light grade sand paper to clean the dirt off the aluminum and I also put a little Permatex Ultra Black Gasket Marker (just a little small spread) on the top and bottom of the valve cover gasket. I don't know how much a shop would charge for this install, but I can guarantee book research and online videos saved me hundreds. Just ensure you have a good torque wrench, the torque is very low, I think around 7 pounds (not sure without the manual). It is very, very easy to over torque valve cover bolts if you don't have a smaller torque wrench(quarter inch); broke one myself when I first started. Also, use electronics cleaner to spray your shaft sensor so it cleans the dirt out. But all and all, I'm happy with this purchase. Product came quick, I will continue to use FCP Euro for all my work.

I ordered this kit to fix oil from leaking into the spark plug wells, which it had a lot of. It comes with all the gaskets/seals you need for the valve cover. Job was completed and no engine oil leak so far after about a month. Great kit for repair at a great price and the lifetime warranty is a great bonus.
