Was thinking first of only changing the gaskets, since had leaks all over it, but later changed mind and replaced the whole valve cover since the old one seemed so brittle and needed some major cleaning

Perfect part to solve a poor idle and oil leak at Valvetronic Motor seal (so bad oil leaked onto exhaust manifold and smoked) on a E90 328xi. I also had the following faults as there was a crack in the old Valve Cover. - 29E1 - Mixture Control 2 - 29E0 - MIxture Control - 2D06 - Air mass system - 2D29 - Differential pressure sensor, intake manifold; plausibility

Ordered on Friday and received on Monday. Excellent and fast shipping. Replaced my leaking cover on my 2009 BMW 328i. Comes with all the gaskets and steel bolts attached. I reused the spark tubes. Perfect fit, no more leaks. Make sure to torque all the bolts to specs and then check again. The FCP Euro video as spot on. Just pay special attention putting the valvetronic in service position.

After everything I've read I went with an original because the aftermarket ones didn't seem that reliable and I don't want to keep doing this job over and over but at least if I have to do it again it's warrantied and I only had to pay once. It also came the next day and I only paid 7.99 for shipping

I was told by customer support before I bought this that it came with spark plug tube seals, this DID NOT come with spark plug tube seals. You will have to get your own. Hopefully the cover does the job and works well, pretty expensive.

This item fixed my leaking valve cover. It cured a burning oil smell in my car. This product's price is definitely steep, but it fit like a glove and the installation was simple.
