Overall seemed to be a well built piece. Packaging was decent. Overall was happy with quality/price of the thermostat. Went on pretty easy and worked like a charm.

Recently on my 328i I had a very big coolant leak. It was hard to identify where it was coming from so i got alot of parts including this thermostat housing, The install was very easy and 3000 miles in it is working great.

Thermostat started to leak from center electrical connection (where thermostat opens and closes) after four years and roughly 50k miles. This is apparently a common fail point on these thermostats. Is otherwise continuing to work fine and maintain proper engine temperature. I'll be replacing with a Mahle thermostat in hopes that it lasts longer.
