Works great. Old thermostat was soft failing, keeping car at 85 degrees C. New one hold between 94 and 97 which is ideal for this engine.

GET THIS! MAHLER STICKS OPEN!
Its 30F in Boston and I noticed my car would take 25mins to reach operating temperatures. It was odd because the Mahler thermostat was less than a year old. I didnt notice any abnorbal behavior in the summer. I checked for codes with ISTA D and there were none. I bought the Borg Warner and replaced the Mahler and now my car reached operating temps in 5mins.
I guess IT IS possible to get a sticking open thermostat without triggering any codes.
Just get this. Avoid Mahler.
