Great OEM-level quality thermostat
Replacing the thermostat on an E90 takes the dexterity of a contortionist but is still a very do-able job for the average home mechanic. At 81,000 miles, my thermostat failed so I replaced it along with preemptively replacing the water pump since I didn't want to go back in there for a while. As most forums will indicate, I highly recommend replacing both the water pump and thermostat together and also buying quality replacements like these from FCP Euro. As an additional benefit, using FCP Euro's replacements will guarantee you will never have to pay for another one again! So far, both units are working flawlessly.

Good OE quality part
The old thermostat on my 2009 BMW e90 was stuck OPEN. I replaced it with this new one while doing a water pump job, yeah! Everything working perfectly.

It Fits and Works Just Fine
Installed on my daughter's 2009 328I at 143k miles along with new water pump for preventative maintenance. No problems with fit and it works just fine. It was not OEM on this 328I, a Mahle came off. But I hope it will last just as long. At least it has the lifetime warranty, but you certainly do not want to do this job again. I would have bought the Mahle thermostat if I had known.

Perfect
Man, what a job this was. BMW, I don't understand your logic with the placement and positioning with some of these parts but I still love you. FCP Euro, thank you for providing me with a quality part. The thermostat was a direct replacement for my 2007 E90 335i. I'm very happy with this purchase and so glad that it's working. I originally opted for a cheaper unit on Amazon. Seeing as how time consuming this knuckle buster job was, I decided I should probably by a quality product from a reputable company. I'm glad I coughed up the extra $10 and purchased it through you guys. Not only do I have a superior quality thermostat but I also have piece of mind that it's not going to malfunction any time soon (fingers crossed).

2006 330i thermostat assembly
The part fit in perfectly and you feel a lot better when you are putting on parts that have a lifetime warranty. Just a FYI the original part on the vehicle is aluminum and the replacement part is plastic but it’s just as sturdy.
