Excellent part for the price. Exact fit and function of OEM without the OEM price. Would definitely recommend this thermostat for your BMW

Although a reasonably difficult install in a tight space, works perfectly!

Replaced my factory thermostat when I replaced my water pump. The factory one was a Wahler. The only difference was the factory one I took off was aluminum and this is plastic. Either way it works with no issues. Same fit.
