What should I gap my spark plugs for my 2015 Bmw 320i?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
You don't need to gap this spark plug for an N20. This is the factory OE spark plug and it is pre-gapped.

My shop told me this is the best spark plug for my X3 2012 N55 engine ... why you said this not fit N55 engines ?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This is an OE (original equipment) spark plug for N20/N26 engines as listed. This can be used as an alternative one step colder spark plug for tuned N55 engines. If your N55 is not tuned, there is no real benefit to using this spark plug over the OE ZR5TPP33 spark plug. In general, we have found listing "alternative fitments" on spark plugs to be extremely confusing for a majority of customers and have avoided doing so on this product. More times than not customers with modified applications are shopping spark plugs by part number, not application guide.

Question Posted by Fernando
My N20 is stage 2. Should I run these spark plugs and just gap them or should I do 2 steps colder?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This is the factory spark plug for N20/N26 engine and is two steps colder and one step colder for the N54 and N55 engines respectively. The only spark plug that is a heat range colder than this OE N20/N26 plug is an S55 M3/M4 spark plug p/n 12120039634.

Question Posted by a customer
Are these high performance plugs and is an improvement to the BMW plugs ?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
For the applications listed this is the OE (original equipment) spark plug. The Genuine BMW is the equivalent to this plug in terms of type and is also made by NGK. There are no real benefits to switching spark plugs unless the engine is tuned and even at that it's usually a spark plug that's a step colder. The factory ignition system is already very optimized that there is no major benefit to using alternate spark plugs.
