'08 5 series is 11 years old and these were in need of replacing. Ordered these and watched a couple of videos on how to do it. FCPEuro continues to provide parts that are inexpensive AND exact fit. And with a LIFETIME replacement warranty why would you purchase from anywhere else? Once again, Kudo's to FCPEuro.

BMW Hood Strut (E60) - Stabilus 51237008745
Install is super easy with these, I will say the right side has started to creak/ whine, they are only about 2 weeks old and I would not expect to have any issues with them. Hoping it goes away with some more usage

I don't have to worry about a hood falling on top of my head so that is definitely a good thing 5 stars they are pretty strong

I used to get headaches when working on the car. Turns out it was the hood hitting me on the head because the struts were shot. These replacement struts are by the same manufacturer as the original ones so they fit really easy and the hood lifting is like night and day. Best of all - no more headaches.
