The chart says it fits my car and I’ve called and talked to fcp service twice, they’ve spoken to their bmw experts and say it will work with my 2019 m240i. I just did the job today and noticed the pan design is slightly different, the gasket going around the edge isn’t the factory flat style taking up the whole edge. Quality pan and Liquid Moly makes the transmission shift smoother.

This is an upgrade from the factory transmission fluid in my opinion since it targets more spirited driving and great for daily as well. Shifts smoothly and the pan is OEM like quality. Very fast delivery. Parts were very high quality. Would recommend 10/10.

Be aware, my 2016 535d required me to trim the plastics on this pan in order for it to fit. Installing it without noticing this interference problem (near the control solenoids and drain plug area) would result in extreme pan flex and potential leaking/cracking. FCP Euro was made aware of this with photographs. Make sure you check with them and provide a VIN before ordering this pan or trans service kit.

I forgot to add, our 2014 X3 28i all torx bolts easily accessible only challenge was adding fluid after warming it up and running thru the gears to fill converter the exhaust pipe is only inches away from the fill plug so be careful put tinfoil around the pipe for added safety. Price and quality can't beat this kit fit perfectly the pour spouts in the liquid moly are cool just not room to use them so a pump is needed. Trivia..BMW built the engines for the FW190s.. amazing plane.

Ok, liquid moly nozzle insert comes out easily, the step by step video made this job much easier. All went smoothly was able to add about 5 liters back to the transmission using a standard pump from AutoZone. Took some time but this isn't a routine maintenance process so that was fine. Good luck anyone doing this, don't be intimidated the video makes it doable.

Hello, going to tackle the transmission drain and fill, curious what pump you use for the 1L Liquid Moly bottles as they have a larger spout and they have a tube built in how it that removed easily? Thanks Doug

i thought for sure this was going to be a hard job to perform other than cutting down a torx bit to get a couple bolts out it was pretty easy .. just drain the fluid take the pan off , then just install the new pan and put the fluid back in i used a cheap transfer hand pump from harbor freight to put the fluid back in i just put back in what came out . i did the proper procedure .. pump fluid in until it comes out .. put the drain plug on then get up to temp shift through the gears turn off the car put more fluid in until it comes back out and then tighten the plug. i want to say just under 4 bottles worth came out and thats what i put back in. zero issues with it its been about 9k miles since i did that.
