Wondering if you guys have an opinion on going with this vs the kit with genuine ZF fluid? Obviously you wouldn't list a kit with LiquiMolly if the fluid wasn't up to spec but is there actually any benefit / deficit of going with one over another?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
ZF is OE in this instance, so that is exactly what you would receive from the factory, but LM is a leader in automotive fluids and you are certainly not sacrificing quality when you choose a LM product. Ultimately, it would come down to personal preference.

I have a 2011 535i with almost 110000 miles on it and it runs great for the most part, but I’m not sure if the trans has ever been serviced before this, is it safe too service it and put in new oil with that many miles? Just not sure heard many rumors not ever changing it and putting fresh oil can be more damaging then good?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Yes, it is certainly recommended to change the transmission fluid. BMW "claims" the fluid is lifetime however, there have been a myriad of tests proving otherwise. We recommend changing the transmission fluid on your vehicle every 50k miles or 7 years accordingly.

Thanks in advance for all the helpful videos FCP Euro is creating! Does the engine need to remain idle while doing the final fill? If so, how long will the second fill be allowed before the temperature exceeds the temperature limitation?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
There is a specific hot and cold fill procedure to appropriately complete this job by BMW standards. Please refer to the attached DIY video on how to accurately complete this job accordingly.
