I have a 428i Gran Coupe. Everything arrived with no damage & within 2 weeks... I had to download the BimmerLink app & bought a Bluetooth OBD2 reader to read my transmission temp. It didn't take all 7 qts of fluid, which made me concerned but after reading a lot of other links/info it's typical. I will be checking my transmission fluid level in about 1 month. The hardest thing for me was getting the transmission fluid up to temp & shifting through all the gears. The DYI video helped a lot. I changed it at 53,000 miles.

My car is a 2015 550ix. Following all directions to a “T”, I drained, and replaced, only 4L. Since the kit comes with 7L and video doesn’t specify quantity I continued to pump thinking the hose was somehow spraying back vs entering trans. Still confused, I next measured all the waste oil, yup 4L. Finally found online that only 4L is typical for a pan drain. So in addition to having 3L of extra trans fluid (a $23.33 each), I wasted a bunch of time second guessing oil quantity, not to mention the added mess.
