I have a 2014 x3 35i xdrive. I was wondering if this would work for the front and rear differential? I already have a syringe to empty rear differential. Mainly wondering if it utilizes the same fluid as the front and the same type of drain plug even if it only utilizes one plug instead of two.
Answer(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
For your application, you would use a Gl-5 fluid for the front and rear. Below are options for that configuration.

Rear - https://www.fcpeuro.com/Parts/?keywords=83222413512

I’m replacing the front differential fluid on my 2013 650xi AWD will this work for my rear differential as well? Also , would I need to buy two kits , I seen this comes with two drain plugs , so are the plugs for the rear and front differentials?
Answer(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
For your application it would be 75W85 GL-5, so the correct fluid would be the below options.

2016 BMW 320i XDrive - How many litters do I need in the front differential and can I use it in the rear differential? I am not too worried about fuel consumption...
Answer(Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This kit is only applicable to the front differential. The rear diff only has a fill plug for checking the fluid level. Since there is no easy way to empty the fluid from the rear diff we do not offer a service kit. However, its fill is approximately 1.5 liters of 75W90.
