Calmed down loud fan noise
After replacing failing water pump and thermostat on E93, fan still sounded like car was going to take off into space. This sensor made the fan run far more efficiently

There's nothing special about this sensor. I decided to change out the one under than manifold and the one on the oil filter housing while I had everything else torn apart. You simply screw it in, tighten it down, and reconnect the plug. It does what it is supposed to do. It's nice that it comes with the crush washer. No need for teflon tape/paste.

You really do need a deep 22mm socket for this. A regular 22mm won't work. Strange.
