Shopping with these guys makes it easy to identify OE parts for my E46. Now I know I wont have to be worried about my engine block temp sensor for a while :D

I replaced my coolant temp sensor and oil temp sensor since I had my intake manifold removed and access was great. Easy installation, only tool required is a 22mm deep socket. Exactly the same as the original part off of the car. This is not a part to save a few dollars on, go with the OEM.
