Change of you doing Valve Cover
Just changed it since I already was replacing the Valve Cover and also noticed oil residue in the old one. A bit expensive though but still cheaper than what BMW sells it for

Save yourself some $
Was getting P1006 and P1014 codes with service engine soon light on a 11’ 327xi. Replaced the eccentric shaft sensor with this one which in all appearances looks like the one from BMW and everything is working good again.

best option
This part is the exact same one you'll pay three times more at the dealer. Shipped quickly and if you're likely needing to change this due to a leaking valve cover gasket.

Valvetronic eccentric shaft sensor
Essential part for the timing, but is too expensive for a little plastic sensor

VDO fits and works just like OE for about half the price. It's a no brainer.

valvetronic sensor
if you are changing the valve gasket you might as well do this too. Exact fit
