My trunk struts both failed at same time and the force of trunk closing without them would probably be enough to behead someone... that being said these struts make it so I can lift the trunk (e90) with one finger easily.

Fit great and work smoothly
These struts are great quality and noticeably better than cheap struts. They move up easily but slow gently to a stop when the trunk is almost fully open. You have to lift the trunk a tiny bit and then they lift the rest of the way on their own. The cheap ones will just slam open. They have lubricant pre applied where they mount onto the trunk and car.

Neglected my trunk for so long. Changing these made it easier to just pop the trunk and load. Should've changed these out sooner!
