This pulley pairs nicely with the High Performance Water Pump — no need to ever replace.

Great piece of kit - worth it for the piece of mind over the composite/original one. This thing is built solid and machined/finished nicely so I definitely expect it'll outlast the car.

this part is a must for cars running the stock plastic unit. for m50/m52 it is slightly under driven so that’s an added benefit, and comes with a new belt...can’t complain

Nice pulley replacing the plastic BMW pulley. But the center was just a tad bit to small to fit on the water pump but nothing that couldn't be fixed, just did a little sanding to hone the hole out just a bit. If not for that I would of rated 5 stars.

The bolts don’t fit the pulley.

As you all know the factory pulley is plastic and tends to break not sure why BMW just didn't add the factory Aluminum pully but either way perfect fit comes with new bolts to attach and the belt fit perfectly and in good time my water pump pulley had a piece of the plastic pulley missing it was matter of time before it would have completely fallen apart and would have been stranded.

Pulley was a perfect fit, I did not need the belt yet.

I used this kit when doing the cooling system and belts on my 2001 X5. Make sure to put anti seize compound on the water pump and mating surface of this pulley to prevent galvanic corrosion. Some reviews mentioned that the bolts that secure the pulley to the water pump snapped on installation - I didn't have this issue. Remember the torque spec for these is not very high!

Went on to my OEM water pump with no issues, nice looking and feeling part.
