Glad I found this part because the other plastic would need to be replace later. The part fit like the original.

Great fit. No issues installing. I decided to use a stainless steel worm gear hose clamp to secure the hose. I have had it installed for over a year and have had zero issues or leaks. I would recommend this part as my original flange was starting to deteriorate and I imagine a genuine BMW flange would only do the same over time as well.

I swapped the cheap BMW genuine plastic flange at 62K miles. I had dripping coolant leak down to the floor. Replaced with this Aluminum flange and solved it! It was little difficult sliding the hose flange into the engine. I managed it though. Best part is we get lifetime warranty from FCP.

Perfect fit and good quality construction. Clean edges so it won't snag the hose and tight tolerance on bolts keeps it in position. So much better than having to replace the whole assembly to the water pump/t-stat housing on an xdrive.

BMW is obviously incapable of designing coolant parts that last. They insist on using their cheap and nasty plastic, which seems to have a 100% failure rate. Every single plastic part in my cooling system has burst at some point, including the radiator, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, quick-connect fittings, plastic hoses, and more. The OEM plastic version of this flange simply crumbled into tiny brown fragments that went through the engine and cooling system before the hose just fell off the side of the engine and dumped yet another $30 of precious BMW coolant. At LAST, someone is designing aluminum parts for the cooling system!! This one was easy to install, has worked without any trouble, and will last as long as the engine. Thank you, Rein and FCP Euro!

Got this Coolant Hose Flange from FCP Euro for my 2011 328xi after getting a crappy hose flange from Autozone, which had an o-ring a bit too big. This was a perfect fit and no leaks. Just dab a bit of antifreeze on the o-ring and it will slide in without a problem. Don't force it or it will get clipped by the metal, and you will need to replace the o-ring because it will leak.
