A filter housing seal repair must.........
While repairing my filter housing seal leaks I had to remove the upper coolant hose from the engine. Upon doing so I found my (OEM plastic) connector falling apart. I waited a couple of days for its delivery due to the much needed upgrade. This worked perfect in order not to experience a busted hose on the road and being stranded. Thanks for the option FCP euro!

FCP Euro
I have ordered parts for our BMW 740Li from FCP Euro and they are without a doubt the best in the business. I trust their parts to be correct, fit the car and will provide equal to or better than factory... I will be an FCP Euro customer for life and recommend them to everyone I know. Quality company!

Great replacement for the brittle, corroded plastic flange. Great fitment, an easy job just have to drain the coolant and pull air filter housing out

Great upgrade
I've read about the Mickey Mouse flange failing on the N54 so I ordered this aluminum replacement. A few months after replacing the VCG, I thought that I'd install this as a precaution. It was perfect timing, the old one broke into three pieces as I pulled it out and this one has been solid for thirty months.

I did it right on time
I had the part for quite some time and I finally got to install it. Thank the Lord I did because the coolant expansion hose also on its way out at the nipple end on the driver's side broke because it was weak. I'm glad I was doing this for preventative measures and it expose another issue that I didn't even know was there. https://youtu.be/HNR6GRm2pWk

Need to do if you have a BMW with at least 70 to 100 thousand miles
I did this as a preventative and I am glad that I did this because the old one fell apart while still being attached to the oil filter. When I remove the part the headpiece remained in the can and it was on its way out. Everyone should just do this as a preventive and not wait. Easy install rate of about a 3 or 4

Nice piece, easy install.
You'd think BMW would use more aluminum and less plastic on a $50k car, but here we are.. Buy it.
