Good product but will not save you $$ in the long run.
Rein will for some models sell the hose with the aluminum instead of plastic flange attached. Rein does not have that option for my application (F3x) so by the time you want to replace the plastic flange the hose itself will also probably need to be replaced. If that's the case this means you have to buy a new hose with the plastic flange at which point why bother with the metal flange at all? If the OE plastic flange will last 70-120k miles just replace it along with the same hose for the same price as the metal flange alone because in some cases it's not possible to find a new hose w/out the flange attached. Not only that but when you end up also buying a new hose with the plastic flange attached you have no idea how old the part is so the hose may/may not hold when you remove the collar and replace the flange with the aluminum one. Now what's annoying is that REIN website says this $30 OE hose w/plastic flange (CHE0632) will fit my car and model year but that differs from FCP Euro. FCP Euro states it'll fit my vehicle but not for my model year. So because of that I bought the metal flange for $25 rather than the OE hose w/plastic flange which can be bought off FCP for $30. I'd rather not double the cost of a replacement hose if I don't have to. Bottom line. You will change this hose once or maybe twice during the lifespan of the vehicle. Make sure you can buy a replacement hose w/out the plastic flange before you order this part because if your vehicle is up in miles you're going to want to replace the hose has well at which point the metal flange doesn't make sense.

Old plastic one broke just from removing it. This is a must. Very easy to install to new Genuine BMW hose. Just put the new hose in a vice and crank away. The plastic will eventually break and you’ll install this and never worry about it again!

BMW Aluminum Coolant Hose Flange
Good quality and and extremely easy to install. I re used my hose just simply crushed the old plastic from the coolant hose. Just make sure you have the hose facing down to prevent any pieces going into it.

Quality Replacement
It is a little overkill because this part only needs to be replaced once in most N52 lifecycles but if you really plan on keeping the car for 300k+ then get this Aluminum premium hose upgrade by Rein.
