N55 Aluminum Coolant Flange
It was an easy and much needed swap from the brittle plastic flange to this aluminum one. It fit like a glove and after a few thousand miles after installing it, it has not given me any issues. This flange is a must do item on the n55 engine!!!

Very, very tight fit but worth the slight aggravation. Really to bad its covered up by the hose. Nice piece.

Must have preventive maintenance/improvement for high mileage BMW
When you have an old bimmer with 60K+ miles on the clock, the original plastic hose flange is bound for being like crumbling cookie. Just upgrade to this for your peace of mind.

Fits perfectly, I re-used the hose & replaced the wooden/rubber material used by BMW. I installed this as a preventative measure & knowing it won't be a problem in future. I strongly recommend getting this flange.
