I bout this for my 2006 530xi wagon. I was replacing my radiator so I had to drain the coolant anyway. I saw the recent video about the stock part being prone to failure, so I added this to my cart. It was easy to replace while I had the radiator out. It wouldn't have been hard even if I had not taken out the radiator. The old plastic fitting was not broken but easily crumbled once I had it off the engine block. I'm glad to replace an old part that would have failed eventually keeping me from being stuck on the side of the road. Thanks FCPEuro.

This aluminium flange is great replacement for poor quality plastic BMW flanges that degrade over time.

Fit and works perfect! Shipping was lightning fast! It's easier to install the flange first, bolt it with the 2 bolts and then attach the clamp and hose. I tried put the flange on the hose first and then mounting it but I wasted so much time doing it that way. Other than that, i'm happy with my purchase.

Coolant Hose Flange Replacement
Great replacement for the factory POS! Quick tip, trying to cut clamp with diaganol pliers is almost impossible! Smash clamp with Channel locks or water pump pliers, breaking the plastic underneath and then cut clamp off with tin snips. After smashing cut hose back past where clamp was at to offer a new area for clamp provided to rest. This is a less than 30 minute repair to give you piece of mind on a N20! Thanks FCP!!

Amazing Quality and fits perfectly. I used the existing hose with this flange. I pointed the hose opening downward, pinched it shut further from the opening, crushed the plastic flange, ensured I removed all the debris from inside the hose, and finally removed the steel clamp. On flange installation you need to seat the unit and requires you to push a little hard(even with lube). I'd recommend coming from the driver side fender and pulling towards yourself due to the angle of the flange. Good Luck.
