The first battery lasted about a year before going bad. I had to ship it back for warranty which cost around $60 bucks. It weighs 68 pounds in total so it's pricey to return. If this one goes bad after a year, I'm gonna be upset lol.

Nooooooope! Johny, don't do it, been warned!
Bought this Odyssey G49 H8 in June 2, 2023. Delivered and installed on June 13th on a BMW X5 E70. Battery registration done at same time of install. Vehicle sleeps in a heated garage. Here I am, less than a year later, 280$ down the drain as I will not ship +50lbs failed battery for +100$ and having to buy the replacement at 350$. Very bad experience, extremely disappointed. Buying Costco battery with 36 month warranty. Odyssey wants written proof from auto store to honor warranty. FCP, discontinue this product, please.

Impeccable Service Great Products
Battery was packed incredibly well, priced very competitively and FREE SHIPPING. Even with those factors, the DIY/How To videos are AMAZING everything was spot on with regards to the steps needed and any special considerations. I have been working on cars for over 30 years and the only way we could really afford my wife's 2017 E300 was knowing that I could do a lot of the work on "Baby" (wife's name for the car). Battery replacements can be the simplest or the most diabolical items to replace in a vehicle, this was pretty simple and the video confirmed this.
Thank you very much !

Huge disappointment - lasted less than 4 months
The previous (Varta) battery in my E320 lasted more than eight years despite my very low mileage driving. I ordered this Odyssey battery in November 2023, installed it in the car in January 2024 and by April 2024 it would no longer hold a charge. I charged it with my NOCO charger before installing it in the car and again in March 2024 in the car. Since it wasn't holding a charge I had my mechanic check the charging and drain from the car. Both were fine. They charged the battery and afterwards reported that the battery was bad (11.91v and 227 CCA) and needed to be replaced. I've ordered, received and installed a replacement of the same battery. I hope the replacement lasts more than the 3 months the previous one did. I'm still waiting for the FCP Euro replacement policy to kick in. The Odyssey is supposed to be a great battery, or so I thought. I hope the first one proves to be an anomaly and the second the great battery I'm hoping for. So far I am not sold on buying a battery this way. Even with free shipping on the purchase, the high cost to return a failed battery (due to the weight) means I am paying for almost half the cost of the replacement battery.

Less than one year in service and mine is dead, dead, dead. Local auto parts shop confirms bad battery. With the price increase and what I'd have to pay to ship it back, it doesn't make any sense to even make use of the LRG policy, as I can get a new one with four year replacment coverage locally for less than what it would cost.

This battery will not hold a charge and it's only been a month. Ran the gamut of tests and determined that my IBS and alternator are not at fault, and I don't have a current draw - just a dead battery. Unbelievable.

Had this battery for 6 months now. Car starts right up every time. Previous battery would take a few cranks more before starting. Especially in this 20F weather, even sitting outside for hours, car still starts right up.
