Premature dead battery
I had the same issue as everyone else stated. The battery will not hold a charge and it's not even two years old. This was on an 2005 e55 amg. The exciege battery I had on my 2008 cls550 lasted about 8 years. Don't really want to return it to get the same crappy battery...so not a good situation all around since shipping it back to fcp will cost so much.

Another disappointing order
Unfortunately, my battery has had the same fate as the last few reviewers'. When I bought this battery around a year ago, I only saw good stuff about it in the FCP Euro reviews, on YouTube, and even BMW forums. 1 year and 2 months later, the battery died out of nowhere. I thought the problem was something else in my car, and after a bit of testing and troubleshooting, I have come to the conclusion the problem is the battery itself no longer holding a charge. "Sure, no problem", you'll say. "Just use the warranty, right?" Well, the manufacturer offers a 2-3 years warranty, but good luck getting them to honor it. They pretty much direct you to figure it out with the online retailer you have used. "Well, FCP Euro has the lifetime warranty anyway, right? You are good!"... right... except for the fact that this battery weighs like 50 pounds and just to ship it back is like $150... I've always used FCP Euro for pretty much all my orders. Their parts tend to be reliable and as long as you return their original part, they'll honor the return. But do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on a battery that has poor reliability & cannot be easily replaced when it actually dies. I'll go even farther, just don't buy anything heavy from FCP Euro unless you are 1000% confident it's not going to fail on you within a few months.

Doesn’t last long
It’s a good battery but it doesn’t last as long as my interstate battery. Bought this battery aug 2021, it’s now December 2023 and it already needs to be replaced .

Don’t buy this battery online
I’m in agreement with the other reviewer who warns about buying this online. I made the same mistake. This battery failed after 18 months. The manufacturer points you to the reseller for warranty service, and the cost to ship this 65-pound boat anchor back to FCP Euro makes no sense. I also think that this particular battery was junk and I don’t want another one. I headed to the local BMW dealer and got a factory battery for the same price. In 20 years of owning multiple BMWs, the factory batteries have never lasted less than 6 years for me. The one I replaced with this piece of junk lasted 10 years.

Don't purchase this from FCPEuro
This battery lasted me just over 2 years. I'm reaching out to the manufacturer to get some warranty compensation, but shipping the battery back to FCPeuro to use the lifetime replacement guarantee is just north of $175 from the midwest, more expensive than buying a similar spec battery from Costco. This might seem like a good deal compared to the other sites selling this Odyssey battery, but consider that you won't be able to quickly replace this battery via FCPeuro when your new one dies. It would take a couple days with the quickest shipping speed to get it replaced and you would be stuck with a dead car in the meantime. FCPeuro doesn't prorate the battery costs like a local battery shop would either on a battery that doesn't outlast the warranty period. I purchased this thinking that I would just ship it back once it died 5+ years from now and get a free replacement. Don't be like me and just buy one locally now. You'll save yourself some headache down the road. Costco has a similar battery from a better brand for $170.

Perfect Battery
This was a really nice and cost effective direction to go for my Audi and Porsche. Thanks FCP Euro.

Errors Gone Cranks Faster
2nd battery in the E90 M3. Started getting weird errors and the radio turning off on me. Previous battery was 6 years old and found out that it had not been registered by my previous shop. Registered this new one with BimmerLink app and cleared all the error codes. Cranks up faster and sounds better doing it. Wrestling a little with wires while trying to yank out a 60lb battery, but fits like a glove. Almost forgot to put the little plug (attached to the Positive cover) on the other end of the battery to prevent it from venting out the side that didn't have a hose. No one mentions to do it in some of the write ups people do, Odyssey says shouldn't be a big issue if it isn't, but better to have peace of mind.

Great Battery. OEM fit.
I am always cautious when purchasing non-oem batteries for a BMW. I purchased this for a BMW x5 that had a failed battery, and every electronic module was in a fault state. IE: 4x4 error, DSC error, parking brake, etc. I installed this battery to replace the OEM BMW BCI Group 49 battery. Coding was required and the intelligent battery system (IBS module) recognized the battery immediately and all dashboard error lights went off after a few starts. Thge quality and construction of this batter is phenomenal. Much better than getting an AutoZone or Advanced auto parts special.

Group 49 H8 perfect for my Cayenne 957
This battery is the balls. Fit my 2010 Cayenne GTS 957 perfectly, easy install for sure, if just a bit heavy. With all the CCA on this baby, my rig starts more smoothly and more easily than ever before. Old battery was low on reserve power and accessories would run down battery to a non-start state. This new Odyssey battery has changed all that. I recommend this AGM battery for Porsche without hesitation. Gundo
