BMW BKR6EQUP Spark Plug - NGK 3199
I didn't want to experiment so I followed what's recommended. I old plugs have some yellowish color. Can anyone tell me what it means?

I was weary about these plugs, but after installing, I couldn't be happier.

These NGK spark plugs are of the exact nomenclature as the NGKs that my BMW left the factory with. BMW lists both a Bosch and the NGK products for my application so I stuck with these since they have provided such good service from day 1. My car is a 1999 BMW E46 with M52TU engine and is just now turning over 100,000 miles. These plugs are part of my 100,000 mile service. The price for these NGK plugs is better than what is offered from the box stores but is higher than is available on-line at other automotive parts locations. With free shipping it takes the sting out of this one drawback but a review of pricing should be done to ensure a competitive business offering.

I've had my e46 since 2002! I tried the Bosch +4's once in 2004. Car did not like them. Took them out. NGK is the best. Car always runs great on NGK.

Installed these on my 2005 Z4 at 100 000 miles to replace the original plug. Engine works well.
