Perfect for a spark plug change. Cheaper than most 12 point spark plug sockets. Gets the job done!

I need the special spark plug socket to replace the spark plugs of our '13 BMW X3 with 2.0L turbo engine. The regular sockets are all too big to fit. This 12-point thin wall socket is made specifically for replacing the spark plugs in the BMW 2.0L turbo engines. Works perfectly.

Worked as described

It's nice and does have a secure grip (rubber/washer), so secure that you have to use a little force to remove the old plug and the socket popped off the extension several time during the install of the new ones once they are in the engine, had to wiggle and lean to remove for the wall (housing). Well made because the rubber/washer stand in place.

Glad they offered it with my purchase. Or i would have had to go to the parts store.

Worked perfect for my n54 spark plugs

I tried at least a half dozen other sockets, possibly even a dozen, and nothing would fit despite the description saying they would work. I finally bought this product from FCP and it fit perfectly with zero problems. The price is the lowest you'll find too. It has a rubber retainer in the socket so the spark plug comes right up out of the engine, held very strongly, every single time. I'd absolutely buy one of these again.

This tool deserves 4 stars mainly because it is very cheap compared to the other tools. The rubber seal sometimes just doesn't want to let go of the spark plug, but overall it got the job done.

I've bought this tool to change spark plugs on my E90 335i. High end stuff! It works fine.
