You need this to change spark plugs on BMW along with an 6-10 inch extension. It worked perfectly

So recently did my spark plugs on my '14 BMW 328i, bought this tool and had a few issues. One was the rubber inside, it held tight the spark plug and it was pain to pull it out. The second one was I have an extension, no swivel but it would have made this easier, anyways I had to wiggle it inside. Once I threaded it up and try to pull out the socket, the socket was stuck to the spark plug and disconnected from my extension. I used duct tape to keep the socket and the extension held together.

perfect fit. Has a very tight grab on the plugs. I recommend throwing a tiny bit of grease/wd40 on the o-ring inside it.

Worked for my N55, but the plug hole angle, and all the obstructions around the plug holes, makes crossthreading a real danger without a swivel.
"Just use a swivel adapter", you say? I did, too. Then I discovered a standard swivel from my toolbox was too bulky for the tight quarters. YMMV.
Next plug change, I'm buying the swiveled version as added insurance against frustration and thread damage.
No matter which version you select, BE CAREFUL AND GO SLOWLY. Always thread spark plugs with your fingers, first, before introducing a wrench.

There is a rubber o ring inside that tends to slip off, go it stuck on a few plugs inside the engine. otherwise works fine.

Suggest to use the swivel one with extension
I just changed my spark plug this weekend. The socket works but the only issue is that it will stuck with the new plug when pulling out after install. Maybe the rubber is too tight or the extension bar lock is too weak. I have to use the long reach pliers to pull it out manually after each spark plug install. I would strongly suggest you get the swivel one with extension.

Great Quality! Perfect fit!
Does what it's supposed to do. Make sure you lube the o ring inside or the tool will not release from the plug..
