3 piece polyurethane bushing that adds durability to a common failure prone part, for the vertical torque rod/engine mount

Polyurethane bushings are significantly more durable and stronger than traditional rubber bushings. Additionally, the 3-piece design allows for an easy and straight forward install.

Install Note: You'll need to remove the metal sleeve from the middle of the two bushings prior to install. Once this is done you can then install the rubber bushings into the bracket on the car and then re-install the sleeve into the middle of the bushings.

Common Fault Symptoms

  • Engine Vibration
  • Drivetrain Vibration
  • Uneven Engine surface
  • Engine Rock during gear changes

Not A Great Solution

Similar to other reviewers, I had to grind the inside of the pieces to make them fit. A lot. I am worried that due to the grinding now they are not as tight as they could be. Also, they are much wider on the outside so pulling the metal bracket back down over them was a major chore. It is all back together now. My around the block test drive did feel like a lot more vibration through the gas pedal. If this does not work out I will just switch to OEM, which is probably what I should have done in the first place. Try this solution at your own risk.

Part did not fit. I had to grind it down to get it in. This made a what should have been a 15-minute job into something that took 2 plus hours. There are other POLY bushings out there that look like they might fit better. If I had to do this over again I would not go with this part. I got it in and it's working, so I'll live with it.

Great Part, Needs Some Modification

Was a really tight fit, had to grind the edges down a little bit. Once in the part works great, definitely tighter on shifts. Get to hear a little more enjoy noise also!

Poor Fit

This was a very difficult item to fit on my '94 850. The bushing was too large to fit into the mount on the engine. Was also too wide at the flange to have the brace slide over it easily. It needed to be trimmed to have it fit. Now that its been fitted it seems fine and I'm sure it will last longer than the OEM mount.

Well Worth It

A really good fit, took some effort but much happier than using standard item especially a damaged one. always good to make sure the firewall mount is done at the same time.

Upper Torque Rod Bushing

This bushing is TOO hard for my tastes...the entire dashboard now vibrates and the cabin is LOUD. Replacing with OE.
