Good product that fits well
A good product that fit well and was easy to install. Has stopped the rear hatch on my 1997 850 T-5 Wagon from falling down when open.

This item swapped in very easily. Buy a pair so you replace both struts at the same time. Tailgate now lifts and holds (!!) like it did when it was a younger car. No more bonks on the head when unloading groceries.

These struts snap right in and gave my sagging tailgate a new jump on life! If your tailgate is hitting you on the head, two of these and it will open right up.

Easy install, and very nice to have the tailgate hold itself open again. Disappointing that these struts don't have damping in the upward movement though, if you let go of the gate half way up it comes up violently.
