Could not encourage this part more for anyone over 100k mi. it did wonders for my front end wobble alignment and tight feeling.

A new set of these solved the clunking noise in my front suspension. Price was more than reasonable, a fraction of the dealer price. Mounts have been in for 4 years, still working fine.

Well I just bought a used volvo s60 and the car would make these terrible sounds over every single road imperfection. I found online that the spring seat is a common problem and I checked to make sure it was destroyed. I took a wrench to the nut at the top of the strut and I was able to rotate. (That is a sign that the spring seat is destroyed). I purchased these since I was sort of on a budget and they arrived very quickly. I rented from napa strut compressors and I was able to remove and replace the spring seat. I can safely say that my problems went away and the part is performing as expected. All is well. I highly recommend if you experience a similar problem.

Compared prices with a couple places and FCP had the best price and since they are local for me it was a great deal and a perfect replacement fit.

These are a perfectly decent OEM replacement. I had no problems with them for the 4 years they were on my 850. If you're looking for a basic solution, these are fine. However, when my economy strut mounts went bad after a couple seasons, I decided to replace the spring seats while I had everything apart. I went with the extra beefy XC90 SUV spring seats (yes, they fit in an 850 with no modifications) and have been delighted.
