Don't skimp on the drain plug
For whatever reason, the non-OEM non-Volvo drain plugs seem to either be soft and strip easy or they leak. Or maybe I've just had a bad experience. Anywho... no issues here! Works great!

The last "quick change" oi place had Magilla Gorilla do his best to strip out the drain plug. Perfect replacement, now I DIY to keep this from happening again!

I've bought a lot of used Volvo's that were previously taken to quick lube shops, or had "not so detail oriented" DIY'ers use sockets that slowly rounded the edges off of this oil pan drain plug. Whenever I see this starting to happen, I order one of these to prevent future headaches. Don't forget to order a new crush washer.
