Dear previous owner, those bulbs you used said 10W. Now see what you did, the housing and the lens are melted. You should have used these Osram 6418's from FCPEuro, they are the proper (5W) bulb for the job. A nice warm mellow glow sufficiently illuminates your licensing plate, and without melting the trunk lift grip.

In an addendum to my previous review, these bulbs are fine, it was the housing I had an issue with.
